Ann loves teaching Yoga and loves helping people relax and reduce stress in their lives so that they can feel better about themselves. Her first Yoga teacher was her grandmother, who is her inspiration for living a healthy lifestyle and a long life.
Ann holds numerous certifications earned through her years of dedication to life-long-learning and fitness. Her degrees include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education and Dance from the University of San Francisco, a Teaching Credential in Physical Education from Notre Dame di Namur University, a Masters Degree in Education, with an emphasis on Dance and Physical Education, from Notre Dame Di Namur University and a Teaching Credential in Adapted Physical Education from Point Loma Nazarene University. Ann’s yoga and fitness certifications and training include a 200-Hour RYT Yoga Teacher certification through Yoga Alliance, Certified AFFA Group Exercise Instructor, Certified Zumba Instructor, Certified Water Art Instructor. She studied Vinyasa Yoga with Beth Shaw, the Chakras with Sherry Baptiste, Flow Yoga with Shiva Rae, and Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasiter.
Ann declares, “I love teaching Yoga and I hope my yoga classes bring peace to all of my students!”
