Jan Miller started practicing yoga in the early 1970's. She has been an active advocate of meditation which she has practiced since then; considering it an integral part of her well being. She has had a lifelong sense of service through motivating others to take care of their body, mind and spirit.
She studied Ballet in college and has a degree in Ballet Pedagogy. She was an ACE certified personal trainer/fitness instructor, a licensed massage therapist, and currently a 200 hour certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance. She has studied with many teachers; greatest of which, are her students. Her teaching experience spans 3 decades.
The technique of the yoga postures are vital to practicing safely and for longevity of the discipline of Yoga. Be prepared to be cared for in class, you might laugh a little, breathe a lot, and leave feeling more determined to protect your well being.
