Kathy stumbled into yoga in 2001 when she attended a class at her local gym. It was the first time in her life that Kathy ever left a class feeling like she had accomplished so much, yet feeling like she’d had a full body massage.
After years of exploring her own practice she trained at CorePower Yoga in Colorado and became an RYT 200 certified yoga instructor.
Kathy loves to teach everything from Power Yoga to Yin style yoga. Her aim in classes is to guide students through their own personal journey by exploring each asana through alignment, connection to breath, and a mindful investigation of their intention. She encourages students to push themselves when feeling strong, rest when feeling vulnerable, and laugh at themselves when they fall flat on their face. Yoga can be fun and vibrant, and Kathy’s goal is to demonstrate this as often as possible.
