What is Restorative yoga?

The practice of Restorative yoga consists of a series of floor poses supported by the use of cushions, blocks and other props. The poses are held for an extended time to allow the body to relax, the mind to calm and tension to float away. Experience deep physical and emotional release in this practice.

What are some more benefits of practicing Restorative Yoga?

Restorative yoga offers numerous physical and mental health benefits, including deep relaxation, stress reduction, improved sleep, and pain relief. It's particularly helpful for those with anxiety, chronic pain, or sleep difficulties, promoting a sense of calm and balance

What are some of the benefits of physical touch and massage?

Touch is a fundamental human need that plays a vital role in physical and mental well-being. From reducing stress and pain to boosting the immune system and fostering emotional connections, the benefits of touch are numerous and far-reaching.

Touch can reduce stress and anxiety by lowering the heart rate and blood pressure, reducing cortisol levels in the blood, triggering the release of Oxytocin, a hormone associated with trust, bonding and a sense of well-being.

Touch can help relieve tension and pain in muscles and joints and may help speed up the healing process by boosting the immune system’s function.

Touch can help to reduce depression and anxiety as well as promote better sleep quality. Touch enhances emotional connections and promotes a sense of security and safety.
